Customer Service and Administrative Assistant Certification Program
Course Objectives
Customer Service Representatives and Administrative Assistants provide office support in a wide array of industries such as business offices, call centers, medical offices, shopping centers, law offices, and small businesses management. They are employed as office managers, secretaries, call center reps, sales associates, clerks, bank tellers, insurance agents, just to name a few. Examples of skills learned in this program are: Strong Microsoft Office skills to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; principles of good customer service; creating value for customers; creating customer loyalty; effective communication; handling stressful situations; phone etiquette; working with office equipment; creating spreadsheets and professional documents; professionalism in the workplace; computer basics; and scheduling office events and meetings.
Admission Requirements
- Individuals applying for this course are required to interview with an Academic Advisor
- Present proof of education (high school diploma or GED certificate)
- Achieve a passing score on the CSN Basic Skills Test for this particular course

Graduation
In order to graduate, the student must complete the required hours for the course with a minimum overall average of 70. Upon satisfactory completion, the student will receive a Certificate of Completion from CSN.
