Course Objectives
The widely respected Cisco Career Certifications bring valuable, measurable rewards to network professionals, their managers, and the organizations that employ them. The CCNA Certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) indicates a foundation level understanding and basic knowledge of networking. The student will learn fundamental computer networking concepts and components. The student will also apply them as they configure basic network connectivity using PCs, a hub, router, and switch to install configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services. The student will also learn the use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.
Admission Requirements
- Individuals applying for this course are required to interview with an Academic Advisor
- Present proof of education (high school diploma or GED certificate) and / or
- Achieve a 60% score on the CSN Basic Aptitude Test
