Course Description

The Microsoft Office Specialist can be the bridge between traditional business values and the new business environment. The tools available have created an environment that requires more speed, collaboration, targeted data analysis, and reliability than ever before. This course is designed to help Microsoft Office Specialist Certification candidates prepare for the certification exam in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Program course is designed for those who want to learn more about the discipline of project management, how to lead people on projects, the application of project manage- ment tools and templates, and basically, how to best ensure projects are completed successfully (i.e. on time, within budget, and to quality specifications). This course is designed to prepare the student for the Microsoft MOS Certifications in Word, Powerpoint, and Excel and also the prestigious Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI. Admission Requirements

  • Individuals applying for this course are required to interview with an Academic Advisor 
  • Present proof of education (high school diploma or GED certificate) 
  • Achieve a score of 60% on the CSN Basic Skills Test for this particular course

Course Length

240 Hours/24 Wks-Full Time

MOS: Tues/Thurs 6:00pm-10:00pm & every other Sat 9:00am-5:30pm

PMP: Tues/Thurs 6:00pm-10:00pm & every other Sat 9:00am-5:30pm
