Course Description

This program is designed for those who want to increase their value in the Information Technology field and those who want to change to a professional career track in IT by supporting and administering desktops running Microsoft Windows 7 & 8 and servers running Microsoft Windows Server. MCITP differs from MCSE because it requires a new and more rubust skillset that maps into an actual role. The MCITP course offers two Microsoft Certifications:

  • Microsoft Desktop Support Certification
  • Microsoft Server Administration Certification

Admission Requirements 

  • Individuals applying for this course are required to interview with an Academic Advisor 

  • Present proof of education (high school diploma or GED certificate) 

  • Achieve a 60% score on the CSN Basic Aptitude Test, and a passing score on the Microsoft Windows Basic Skills Test. 

Course length

180 Hours/18 Wks-Full Time

MCITP: Mon/Wed 5:30pm-9:30pm & every other Sat 9:00am-5:30pm

Career Opportunities

Technical Services Support Representative, Windows Support Technician, Windows Server 2008 Administrator, Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Administrator, Windows Server 2008 Server Administrator and Windows Technical Sales. The student will be able to work for businesses using Windows products, Windows Partners businesses, computer software retail, B2B and educational sales, call centers, City, State and Federal information technology departments, hospital information technology departments, not-for-profit organizations , medium-sized businesses to large enterprises using Microsoft Windows products.
